Recently, the FATECH Business Team of Foshan City embarked on a ten-day overseas business trip to Vietnam (from July 11th to July 21st). They adopted an integrated approach of pre-event customer visits, on-site exhibition cooperation, and post-event in-depth visits. They showcased at the 19th Vietnam International Power and New Energy Exhibition (VIETNAM ETE 2026), continuously strengthening the market channels in both the north and south of Vietnam. 

In the early stage of the trip, the team first headed to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, to visit key cooperative clients and potential partners in the northern region. The two sides had in-depth discussions on the upgrade of the power grid in northern Vietnam, industrial parks, and the lightning protection needs for new energy projects. They conducted on-site investigations into the standards of the northern market and the characteristics of project procurement. They also fully exchanged opinions on the application of lightning protection products in tropical rainy environments, sample testing, and long-term supply plans. This further strengthened the foundation of cooperation in the northern region. 

From July 15th to 17th, the 19th Vietnam International Power and New Energy Exhibition was grandly held at the Saigon Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. As a benchmark professional exhibition in the field of power and energy in Vietnam, the exhibition gathered numerous power general contractors, distribution equipment dealers, and new energy engineering enterprises. FATECH showcased a full range of lightning protection, surge protection products and system solutions on-site, and had face-to-face exchanges with a large number of Vietnamese power engineering companies and equipment dealers. Facing the high salt spray and frequent thunderstorms climate along the coast of Vietnam, high-adaptability lightning protection products and solutions were promoted. The exhibition hall was filled with a lively negotiation atmosphere, and the team conducted technical exchanges with many new customers, uncovering a large number of potential project opportunities. 

After the successful conclusion of the exhibition, the team immediately carried out visits to customers in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region, visiting local engineering companies and traders. Based on the market information collected during the exhibition, they had face-to-face discussions on the demand for lightning arresters for photovoltaic and infrastructure projects in the south, explored cooperation details such as product localization adaptation, technical support, and order delivery, and actively promoted the conversion of potential leads. 

Vietnam is accelerating the construction of power infrastructure and new energy projects. With frequent thunderstorms across the country, the demand for lightning protection is continuously increasing.
