On July 14, the Pu'er Meteorological Bureau of Yunnan Province met with the Pu'er Branch of China Tower Co., Ltd. and reached a consensus on deepening business cooperation.

The two parties exchanged and discussed on meteorological disaster emergency response services, weather early warning information services, maintenance and support of meteorological observation equipment, and sharing of basic resources and facilities. The two parties stated that they will further improve the cooperation mechanism and deepen cooperation in areas such as regular inspections of lightning protection devices for network infrastructure such as towers and base stations, lightning disaster risk management and control, maintenance and repair of weather station instruments and equipment, and rural lightning protection projects.
