On July 21, the Meteorological Bureau of Rudong County, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, Lianhe County Transportation Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade, and the Port and Port Bureau of the Management Committee of Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone carried out a special summer port inspection to guide enterprises to prevent lightning and static electricity in ports gust.

 

The joint inspection team inspected the lightning protection, grounding, protector and other facilities of portal cranes, oil transfer arms and other large machinery, as well as the equipment and integrity of large port machinery brakes, anchors, tracks, blocks, and wind protection early warning devices. Through inspections, it was found that coastal port enterprises have carried out regular inspections of lightning protection devices. Large port machinery is equipped with gust-proof devices, and the performance of the whole machine is good. In response to the potential safety hazards of individual terminals, the inspection team put forward rectification suggestions on the spot, and will follow up and supervise the implementation.
